This is civil war poncho, it’s made from rubberized cloth which has been
slit in the center to allow it to be slipped over the head. The
material around this slit has been authentically double layered for
added strength. The outer edges are hemmed with a double thickness of
the same cloth. 16 brass grommets around the outer edge allow ties to be
attached and in an emergency used as an effective pup tent.
